Blow Moulding Process
Extrusion Blow Moulding
The plastic is heated to a temperature of around 170°C i.e. above melting point, a tube of plastic is extruded out of the screw barrel under pressure and clamped between two halves of a mould.
The moulds are closed and the tube is then inflated using compressed air through the blow pin to form the product.
